It's really good lol :) vegetarian options were really good— I got the spicy vegetarian chicken hui mei and it was really good! Food came in ~15-20 minutes and it wasn't that expensive at all. 100% Recommend

This place is cash only, so make sure you have some before heading in. They also do not have any alcohol but if you want to bring some beers all they ask is you spend at least $12 a person on food. Which is probably what you will spend anyway. We came here after an escape room, everyone in the group was happy with their meals. The spicy noodles are their specialty and are delicious.

I had a little time to kill today so I searched for a spot to eat at and Spicy Village came up on my map. Really glad I found it. I ordered the pancake with beef and oxtail noodles. Everything was really good. I wish the pancake was a little hotter, but it was quite tasty. The noodles were thick and filling. Such a good spot to visit on a cold day. My only gripe was I spent $22+tip. I understand inflation is hitting hard.

One of the very best Chinese restaurants in NYC--it's a local favorite! The foods ideas are simple, but the complexity and execution of the dishes make it amazing. Try the pork bun, spicy chicken Hui Mei (in dry pulled noodle section), and if you're with a group of 4, definitely get the Big Tray chicken--you can get it either rice or noodle; DON'T BE AN AMATEUR and get it with rice, order the noodles, you won't regret it. I'm not particularly sold on the soup dumplings :/ but the rest is tremendous! Best thing is it's BYOD!!! ????

Cash Only???? Sat right away on a Saturday night. Food came out quick.Ordered extra chicken made it perfect for sharing for two. Pork soup dumplings also good, but smaller than advertised.

Yummy spot, the big tray chicken is the move ????↕️????↕️super satisfying and not too spicy (maybe I’ll ask for more spice next time) …

Fantastic hole in the wall spot that serves delicious spicy hand pulled noodles and soup dumplings. They only have 6 tables so indoor seating can be pretty competitive, but definitely worth it if you can’t do takeout!

Undoubtedly one of the best Chinese food I've ever had in all of NYC and also while traveling. We had a pretty big portion of spicy chicken plate with curry and handpulled noodles, steamed vegetarian dumplings and another plate of grilled pepper chicken with rice. The taste was straight out of China/India, great spices and blend. Super delicious and felt like home food. The prices are also very affordable, considering the portions were really big. Highly recommend if you're in Manhattan/NYC Chinatown area. In the daytime the place is not so crowded but my friend told me that peak hours can be crazy with long queues - so keep in mind. Also: only cash!

Staff and service are great, really fast. The chicken big pot dish is nice and homey. It is well made and the noodles pair perfectly in the gravy.

This is probably the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. I didn’t realize these flavours existed until I came here. I try to make it to this restaurant whenever I’m in town.
